Today`s Demirtaş Industrial Organized Zone`s (DOSAB) construction has begun with Turkish Automobile Factory Corporation`s (TOFAŞ) foundations has been laid in April 13, 1969 and opened as well as Sönmez ASF Facilities` establishment in 1971.
Facility will be planned to meet hundred percent of steam need of DOSAB factories from one center with two fluidized bed boiler that has total capacity of 390 tons/h (2x195 tons/h) and also using locally produced coal as well as satisfy one third of electricity requirement in the zone by producing electricity with 49,9 MW output power generator.
